What happens when your loved one stops eating? Learn what you can do.
This course was inspired by a post by Audrey O. on the Caregiver Connection Facebook page. She writes:
“I am a caregiver for a lady that has late stage Alzheimer’s Dementia. She does not feed herself so we have to feed her and she currently eats baby food, pudding and applesauce. I have noticed in the last few days she is not wanting to eat. Sometimes she will open her mouth to take a bite. Sometimes she will keep her lips pursed and not allow me to feed her. Her husband has opted putting her on a feeding tube. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions?” – Audrey O.
